Go To Folder
Available for: Single Files and Folders, Window background, Desktop

This option makes it easy to switch between your most-used folders. It displays a submenu containing your chosen folders: just click a folder-path to switch to that folder in the current window or in a standard Windows Open or Save dialog. To open the folder in a new window, hold Ctrl when clicking the folder-path. (Note that if this option is selected by right-clicking a file or folder on the desktop, a new window will always be opened.)

Right-click any folder or file icon, or a blank space in the current window, move down to ShellToys and then to Go To Folder. The submenu that appears will contain at least two items:

Add Current Folder
Adds the folder containing the selected file to your list of folders shown on this menu. (If you right-clicked a folder, this item's caption will be Add This Folder, and the path to the selected folder itself will be added.)

Add/Remove Foldersà
Displays the Add/Remove Folders Dialog, letting you add new folders to this submenu or delete folders you no longer need displayed.

Below these items are the paths to the folders you've added to the menu, if any. These folders are stored in a file named folders.ini, located in the CFi ShellToys XP installation folder.

Note: Go To Folder is not compatible with the Open/Save dialogs used by Microsoft Office applications, nor with any Open/Save dialogs in Windows 98 and 98 SE.
